Baby Boy.
I am a bit taken by him.
I think he feels the same way about me.
No one in the world stares at me like Gage does.
He thinks I'm the coolest.
Devin works a lot these days, so I just talk to Gage and he really likes that.
Pretty soon, he'll be spittin at me like my lovely other child did at bedtime.
But for now he is in love with me.
As long as he can see me or touch me he is all smiles.
I bathe him like a lot. I choose to clean him instead of my house, so he always smells so good.
He usually has his signature curled tuft on top of his head. That's how the ladies at the gym remember him.
I stuck it down for these pictures and now I wish I didn't.
It's been a great 4 months loving this Mister.

THIS picture is so Gage all day.
He always gives this look:

4 month statistics:
Weight: 17lbs 3 oz (95%)
Height 26inches(90%)
Head circumference: 43 cm (75%)

A random note to myself.
Some goals I jotted down at church today during relief society.
Love at home. Lots of good stuff, but my new goals because of this lesson are:
Greet everyone in my home like a guest. (most importantly my husband.)
When he gets home, go and greet him. Don't just wave from across the house.
I use to do this, but have gotten lax.
I greet guests with politeness and a welcoming gesture. I don't sit across the house and say "hey."
So it's ridiculous that I forget to give my family the same courtesy when they are
so much more precious than friends or a stranger.
I'm writing it on here so someday in the future when I forget again, I can read this and start again.
I use to have the rule that we had to greet with a 7 second kiss, even if we were ticked, that did wonders for our attitude toward one another each day.
Maybe I'll add that in too.
:)

He is so cute! I'm glad you have a little buddy to keep you company while Devin is gone. I am not looking forward to that!

Oh that made me miss Gage : (. I like your goal to greet Devin when he comes home. I REALLY like it and I'm going to try to do it too. Well, for Nick, not Devin ya know...

7 seconds... woo woo! Gage is so cute. Can I have him? I need a little boy, but Ben REALLY needs a little boy. Us girls can get on his nerves :)
When your kids see you greet Devin when he gets home, they learn from it too. They see how much you miss each other, which means how much you love each other.
Nice post. And the last one about Naomi... I am still laughing so hard about. I love the potty seat on her head. Classic.

Oh, Amie I love your posts, but most of all I love you. I'm so blessed to have married into the Spratling family. I am blessed with such a great family. I love the idea of greeing and treating our family like guests. You inspired me. Give those sweet chillins a hug from me. Have a fabulous day.
